This project focuses on implementing Simulcrypt functionality in the Altum II family of encoders and decoders. The goal is to enable these devices to simultaneously support multiple conditional access systems (CAS) for digital television broadcasting. This addition will allow broadcasters using the Altum II series to distribute their content across different pay-TV operators while maintaining secure and controlled access. The project involves integrating Simulcrypt protocols into the existing system architecture, ensuring compatibility with various CAS providers, and rigorously testing the setup to guarantee reliability and security in real-world broadcasting scenarios.
